About The Founders
Ninapilar
Ninapilar’s perspective originates from a mesh of the creative and technical in web and graphic design. What started out as a passion became an economic vessel. For years she has cultivated Clients’ ideas into fresh and effective presentations.
Her illustrative edge in Brickerati Green is defined by her promotion of “communication through great design” – unusual imagery, bold yet minimal graphics, and an emphasis on typography.
Fond childhood memories in Newark, New Jersey fuel her passion for the progressive socio-economic development and the “live-work-play” movement taking place in the Renaissance City.
Ninapilar’s inherent love for sustainable practices led to the creation of Let’s Barter Up, a simple way to decrease Americans’ dependence on the traditional financial system and help provide a much needed sense of community. The “arrival” of the Green movement to her hometown led her to co-find Brickerati Green, a public relations agency whose mission is to increase morale while greening the emerging urban society.
The roles of public relations and branding are clear. The methods are changing. Specializing in web, print, and wearable art design for a number of years has afforded Ninapilar the opportunity to participate in the evolution of brands. Ninapilar’s work illustrates the power that small groups of individuals and their networks can have to effectively influence a world, city, and business for the better. Professional networks, trust and transparency are the new “it” tools for increased visibility. From the Client’s idea to the design she makes, Ninapilar builds brands that become recognizable by their intended audience.
Pamela
As Brickerati Green’s Content Manager, Pamela produces clear, concise and targeted web, print, and
multi-media copy conscientious of 2.0 attention spans and calendars. Her photography illustrates decisive moments where people, places, themes, and memories are captured with keen eye and creative license.
Pamela is driven by a desire to see environmental, social, and economic rebalancing in urban spaces. Her transparent blog, The Pink Standard discusses the waxing and waning of global, sustainable efforts, and how those developments trend in Newark and its sister cities.
“I think of myself as an Eco-urbanite: catalyzed by the beauty in all things Earth-given, edified by the challenge in urban renewal. I’ve got this impulse to meet and share with new people the feasible inevitability of the Green dream.”
“If we have to go through life in real-time, keeping up with each other at 85-mph, we might as well grip the wheel and throw on the hazards. Cautious optimism and mutual respect will get folks intrigued about what you are doing and where you end up parking.”
For over ten years, Pamela has engaged in community-based efforts to revitalize Newark and the greater urban sphere. As a result, she has amassed recognition from Newark Do Something, Unified Vailsburg Services Organization of Newark, the Greater Newark Conservancy, the Trust for Public Land, and the Center for Whole Communities of Fayston, Vermont.
Her exceptional performance and talent in creative writing led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, which she completed at the William Paterson University of New Jersey graduating Sigma Delta Tau.
Her freelance accomplishments have earned her accommodations from Van Jones, New Jersey/New York Sky Blue FC, the American Liver Foundation, and American International Group.
